Grandfather clock radio
#1

Can anyone identify the make / model of this? A friend would like me to restore it. Thanks.

Looks like a Colin B Kennedy model XV
.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

Thanks, Gentlemen. I think Wallace may have hit on it....that sure looks like the one. I'll pass the info on to the owner and see if he can verify.

Hmm that's interesting. At 1st I thought it might be a Columaire but the pic I saw had the radio knobs on the right side not on the front.

There are two versions Terry, the bigger one has larger chassis' and controls on the side, while this one has a single smaller chassis and controls on the front.

Learned something new! Have seen a few in person but just didn't remember the differences. Chassis looks like a Radiola 80.

Some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as a gift
