Now that my electronic restoration is practically complete on this radio, my attention turns to the cabinet I have. Does anybody know for sure; were the vertical grill bars over the speaker cloth originally photo finished? This cabinet appears to say "no" but if they were, somebody did a masterful job of removing it. Only the wide column on each side presently has the photo finish.

I don't think the grillebars had photofinish on them, only the left and right sides of the grille, as you say.
