Does anyone know if these are available, or an acceptable substitute/replacement? I have a 42-400 which still has the jewel, but it is disintegrating and cracked. Any info would be appreciated.

Gene, could you post a pic and possibly measurements? Is it a stand-alone jewel or a permanent part of a lamp assembly? Would something like this work? It fits a 7/16" hole and needs to be polished up but it's glass, not plastic.
