Got this off Ebay this last week. I have seen one other the 53-800 which I actually like the looks of better, but sometimes you can't be choosey. I am not sure what there is about this radio, but the look of it made me decide I needed to own one. The case has a piece that got broken at some point and was I assume glued back. When the set arrived the piece wasn't there and I panicked. Went through the entire box of packing material and didn't fine it. Took the back off and found it inside the set.

I will reglue it using epoxy and try to match the color of the woodgrain paint. For $15 I can live with it even as a shelf queen.
